Preston Marks
Preston serves as Vice President of Hannah News Service and State Director of Illinois. A graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, Preston holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Economics Management.
After managing two very successful restaurants, Preston joined Hannah News Service starting out as a marketing assistant in the corporate offices in Ohio. With his varied operations and customer service experience, Preston is responsible for all aspects of the Illinois office operations. He is also the main client contact for training and questions regarding the Illinois Capitol Connection service.
Preston and his fiancé, Candace have one son, Charlie.
Ben Postlethwait
Ben joined Hannah News Service’s Illinois operation in January 2020, where he focuses on Senate legislative actions and committees, as well as expanding services for Illinois clients. He previously served as a reporter and editorial assistant at Hannah’s Columbus, Ohio office, where he covered the House of Representatives and the State Board of Education, among other subject areas.
A 2016 graduate of Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College, Ben’s varied experience also includes broadcast media, having working with WOUB Public Media in Athens, Ohio; WBUR in Boston, Massachusetts; and the Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Bureau prior to graduation.
Ben is happily married to his wife April. They have a canine companion named Grover.
