Brian Eizenga
Brian joined the Hannah News Service/IndianaNet team in 2017 after graduating with a BS in Public Affairs with a focus on management and criminal justice from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. He spent two legislative sessions in Indiana before becoming the manager of Hannah Kentucky Legislative Services in October 2019.
Brian lives in Lexington, Kentucky, and when not in Frankfort can usually be found at local philosophy, bike polo, and hiking groups. He is passionate about public policy, justice and community.
Jonathan Wales
Jonathan has an extensive background in communications, political media and legislative tracking. He has worked on Capitol Hill and around several state legislatures.
From 2006-10, Jonathan managed the IndianaNet legislative tracking software for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, Jonathan founded his own legislative tracking company – which utilized Hannah software – in Kentucky.
In 2013, Jonathan became the co-owner of Hannah News Service-Midwest. He currently serves as managing partner for the company’s Indiana, Kentucky and South Carolina operations.
Jonathan is active in youth mentoring and international orphan care. He is an Advisory Board member for the Bowen Center for Public Affairs and board member of Lifesong for Orphans-South Korea. Jonathan resides in Indianapolis with his wife Melanie and their four school age children.
Steven Marks
A graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio, Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Since 1985, he has held many posts in and around state legislatures. Since 2002, he has served as President of Hannah News Service, Inc., the premier legislative news, information and research service in Ohio and Illinois. He is managing member and co-founder of Silent Partner Software, Ltd., a legislative management software development firm. He is also the founder and co-owner of Hannah News Service-Midwest, LLC, a sister company with operations in Indiana, Kentucky and South Carolina.
Active in both the Delaware and Columbus communities, Steve is currently Vice-Chair of the Columbus Metropolitan Club, where he serves on the Program, Resource Development and Nominating Committees. He has also served as Chair of the Board and Finance Committee of the Delaware Morrow County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board. In 2010, he was elected National Treasurer and to the Board of Trustees of NOLA, the national organization for legislative tracking companies. He also is a member of and frequent contributor to the Ohio Society of Association Executives.
He has been happily married to Vanessa since 1990. They have four successful children: Megan, Preston, Haley & Jack and two not so successful dogs. He resides in Central Ohio.
